Hardcore Fitness Bootcamp Downtown Los Angeles
400 W Pico Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90015, United States
Was hoping to find a program or center that would keep me on my toes since I tend to lose focus in the gym. Hardcore Fitness DTLA is a place I would 100% recommend because of its split body workouts, inclusive schedules, and great morale. I have been able to join a class whenever it fits my schedule since I am juggling a lot these days.So happy to find a place close to home, with accessible parking, and with no “cocky” community.
Boot Camp L.A. Outdoor Fitness Program
5801 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90036, United States
I tried my first Boot Camp LA class about 2 years ago, since then I have lost 25 pounds and gained a new appreciation for food and staying fit. I have always been relatively active, making an effort to visit the gym twice-three times a week and forcing myself to stay on the treadmill or elliptical for at least thirty minutes. However, Boot Camp LA helped me see the excitement and benefit of staying in shape and pushing my body to its limits. Jay was the first instructor to help me not shy away from hard work, but instead to appreciate it. His perfect balance of motivation and understanding allowed me to trust him when I thought he was demanding the impossible, and trust my body when I wanted to give up. Jay has looked for the same expertise and compassion in the rest of his training staff, I havnt been let down yet. I made the mistake of quitting No Limit for a while in hopes of finding the same quality class for less money. I tried a variety of other bootcamps, crossfits, and other classes off Groupon, but came crawling back to Bootcamp LA almost immediately. Their warmth, quality, and results are unparalleled, I havnt found anything that compares. This company makes weight loss possible because they offer new workouts, realistic nutritional advice, and a motivational/informative staff. They have an all encompassing workout schedule that focuses on a different part of the body each day and utilizes both weights and natural body resistance to ensure that one is working out to their fullest potential and avoiding injury. Boot Camp LA is successful because they provide a fun atmosphere and a warm team. I can thank Bootcamp LA for my healthier body, love for exercise, and ability to make healthier choices in all aspects of my life.
4F Fitness & Wellness

At the beginning of 2022, I decided to start getting back into exercising - I ran some google searches in my area and was lucky enough to find Farron at 4F Fitness & Wellness. He was the first trainer I had contacted and I have been training with him ever since - 5 months and counting! He checked all the boxes I was looking for - outdoor sessions, flexible schedule, affordable, and most importantly, innovative and diverse workouts. Each session is well thought out and planned beforehand so that you can get right to work and maximize your time/results.He is able to accommodate any level - beginner to intermediate to advanced. Although I had been in great shape in the past, I had definitely fallen out of the routine and boy did I have alot of ground to make up. Farron was able to gradually get me back to feeling comfortable and confident with exercising which has made it SO much easier to stay motivated and consistent.Cant recommend him enough - if you are looking for a kind, supportive and professional personal trainer, I strongly encourage giving Farron at 4F Fitness & Wellness a try!
LM Fitness Center
2985 Glendale Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90039, United States
LM Fitness Center rolled out the red carpet on day one for me when I was looking for a new place to reach my fitness goals and get in shape. Byron and my trainer, Blake are both fitness professionals that are in the business to go above and beyond to help you meet your fitness needs. The continuous improvements that LM Fitness Center will make you appreciate all the amenities it has to offer. I requested Blake to be my trainer because I felt like he understood the level of fitness I needed but it was his willingness to listen to me and provide me with an A1 meal plan along with make supplement suggestions that set apart from all other trainer I have ever hired. Blakes willingness to pay attention to my physical details and actually coach me into learning new techniques and improving my overall knowledge about todays advanced weight lifting structure is why I feel like he is the best trainer Ive ever had.

This place is excellent. Staff is always friendly and greets you as you come in. For a cheaper gym membership, this is really nice to have. I do have some pressing concerns, which is why I only gave it 4 stars (for a downtown gym, heavily populated during rush hours and weekdays after 5pm, these concerns are very much present during these hours). This is mainly equipment, but with the heavy crowd it gets, these can be a problem.-limited number of adjustable benches: out of the entire gym, there are about four to five benches, not including those placed between the smith machines (if youre doing any kind of presses with weights, you need the bench, obviously). However, two of them are regular, non-adjustable benches. So youve got three adjustable benches for the entire gym. Youre out of luck if all three are taken. Theres space for more and they are not nailed to the ground, so...more would be optimal.-incline benches: only three--one is always taken with a smith machine, so two is pretty limited. Theyre also non-adjustable, and I have to go out of my way to grab separate weight plates to adjust the height. even though its hardly much an increase.-smith machines: only three, and youre lucky if you get your hands on one. Every now and then, some member will so graciously take one up for an hour and staff can be limited (yes, it is very noticeable that only two staff members are on the floor and they are obviously busy taking care of their responsibilities--thats their job and they should not be pressed for that; this is a management issue and it needs to be addressed)-barbells: very limited, with only one 20lb. and 60 lbs. bar, two 50 lbs. and two 40 lbs. and two 30 lbs. And the max is 60 lbs., so if you need anything heavier, you have to resort to other equipment, which are also high-demand ones. Ive been to other clubs with up to 90 lbs.-multi-function cable machines and equipment attachments: this is a nice touch--busy gym needs multiple cable machines and three (so 9 workout spots). Unfortunately, the detachable equipment is limited (two rope pulldown attachments, and one of every other attachment)-bathrooms: its a gym bathroom, so its obvious it wont always be clean. Thats not the issue. The issue is the hand dryers. Theres a sign that says its trying to be eco-friendly by reducing waste of paper towels by having none at all. Great! But all throughout the gym, you have paper towel dispensers that always run out and are always being used...this is really counterproductive and is totally worsened by the fact that the sink counters are always wet. So forget about setting any of your things down--there are no paper towels to clean/dry them up.This is a great gym for regular gym routines and Ill still keep using it.

This gym over the last year has dramatically improved from a dirty, stinking fitness center; to a nice, clean, reliable gym. Sure it gets busy sometimes, but theres enough equipment for everyone. Also, the staff are much better than the old ones.

There is no hot water, I had to take a cold, COLD shower. This is important because, I work out early mornings before work. This is ridiculous. I have to call everytime before I go to see if the showers have hot water.Update: They finally have hot water, talked to some ladies in the locker rooms, some called corporate about the water. Thank-you for fixing that, lets hope its stays on now. The water was inconvenient... Also some hooks to hang your towel, or to hang your change of clothes would be nice PF. The one in HP has them. This way they dont get wet... Or have to walk all the way to the locker making the floor slippery for other member.. Also, one of the counters in the womens locker looked like it was becoming loose and could, if not supported properly, injur a member.Update :02-26Parking rules are not spelled out for people. You can only Park on one side, if you get to the gym before 7am and park on the opposite side, you get towed 7am-7pm. Then the PF sign reads from 9am-9pm, where do you park from 10pm-6am? If were forced to park at the. Top during late and dangerous hours, then please send your parking attendantsbup there to patrol. also, management should be exact on what parking rules and where, and what spaces. Planet Fitness should announce to their members and maybe even remind via speaker phones, or paper notices that anyone parked should move their cars. Instead I get yelled at an unprofessional female attendant about how she did me a solid and not had my car towed. I had to waste 5 mins trying to advise her, over her frantic yelling that the signs should be more clear and define the regulations. Since she refused to listen to my request, I asked for managementd number so can personally call to inform them that not only are the signs hand written, and hard to read, but also that they hired the rudest female parking attendant. She was yelling at me like I stepped on her toes. She refused to give me managements number, so planet ...

On March 29, I arrived at this fitness center, I wanted to buy a membership, but the administrator at the counter sold me a 1-day ticket for $20, when participation in the membership costs $25. Okay, then I asked for a storage box, but he just said nothing, while everyone else had boxes, and then he said get out of here, that is, he kicked me out of the gym, while I paid $20...
