Eternal Strength Gym
1707 Lafayette St, Santa Clara, CA 95050, United States
I have my own equipment at my office in my hometown and I always work in there privately.I wanted to use this gym for my Santa Clara trip and I liked it. It felt like home. There is more than enough equipment for my simple needs.I loved that there was nobody except me when I was working out.No music, no distractions.Isaiah will provide an access code to the gym for you to come any time within the operating hour window.I recommend.
The Contenders Gym
410 Martin Ave, Santa Clara, CA 95050, United States
By far the best gym I’ve ever been too. From the personal attention from the owners and the people makes it feel like a second home. If you pick this gym, not only will you improve physically, but I’d argue you’d improve mentally as well. You gotta see it to believe it. 6/5 stars, this ain’t just a gym, it is Thee Contenders Gym

Anytime Fitness
2718 Homestead Rd, Santa Clara, CA 95050, United States
This gym is CLEAN, well maintained, & accommodates members of all fitness levels.Being a previous member of the large, 24 hr gyms, Santa Claras Anytime Fitness offers a clean, focused environment to help engage different methods of training in AND out of the facility. Though I havent gotten to know many of the staff members, the ones I have met are very helpful and motivating. Looking forward to a long membership with them.I like the fact that they have seasonal challenges to motivate you. They also recognize individual members of the month (something you dont get from the big name gyms). Very happy with their social media presence and their member-focused approach to running a gym.
Movement Santa Clara
801 Martin Ave, Santa Clara, CA 95050, United States
I decided to check out Movement Santa Clara to try a new gym in the northern California area, and its enjoyable. Ive been to Movement in Orange, and Santa Clara seems like they have a larger boulder area but a smaller gym section. The ceilings dont go as high, so they do feel slightly cramped inside the bouldering area. The routes range from VB to one v11. The difficulty seems on par with the other gyms in the area. The routes were varied in technique and skill but overall really interesting climbs. This gym also uses Kaya as the climbing app, which helps solo climbers figure out betas or log their sends. Theres a kilter, tension, and campus board for training, and all of those areas were pretty empty the few hours I was there. The bathrooms were clean and were equipped with clean towels and showers but no sauna. The front staff was helpful in checking me in and asking whether I needed any type of rentals. The price for a day pass here is 33 dollars, which is a tad more expensive compared to a few other climbing gyms. This location also got very packed in the evening, around seven, when I was there. Theres plenty of parking, though, which is a bonus. Im definitely checking out the Santa Clara Movement in the future when I return to the area.

Really disappointed I couldn’t try my free pass because my id wasn’t from Santa Clara? I just moved to the area and wanted to see if I liked the gym here. I didn’t have any other issues with another gym.
The Camp Transformation Center
2078 El Camino Real Suite C, Santa Clara, CA 95050, United States
What can I say except that I love this place! I tried a similar gym but found it boring and repetitive. I found The Camp - Santa Clara in November of 2022 and now they are stuck with me. The workouts are tough, fun and always changing so it never gets boring. The coaches and staff are very knowledgeable and welcoming. I look forward to working out now instead of dreading it.If you are looking to start your fitness journey, I highly recommend The Camp - Santa Clara.
Snap Fitness Santa Clara
60 N Winchester Blvd, Santa Clara, CA 95050, United States
... front. The parking lot and gym are well lit, with cameras in the appropriate locations. I have always felt safe while working out here, even during late-night or early morning hours.Despite the excellent location and access, the cost is very reasonable for the amenities, including numerous machines, free weights, a squat rack, Smith bar, room for yoga or floor work, and a massage table. Three restrooms are available (mens, womens, and a single person shower-bath). Unlike other Snap locations, this one is staffed during the most popular hours (something like 9am-8pm weekdays, and 7am-12noon on Saturdays). The staff is quite knowledgeable and friendly, and they offer a wide range of individual and small-group coaching in addition to the basic equipment use arrangement. When not assisting members the staff will typically clean machines or re-rack weights so that the entire gym, including the bathrooms, are always clean and well-maintained.The atmosphere is decidedly laid back for both members and staff. People are always willing to let others work in when things get a little busy, and we have made friends with several of the other members. In the four years we have been attending I have never seen a single roid-head stacking on the plates and grunting his way to an overdeveloped body. Instead, the members range in age from late teens to seniors, with a high level of diversity that lines up with the general Silicon Valley demographic. The staff are available, but not intrusive. They always greet us by name upon entering or leaving, but never hover or act like they are watching us. Instead, they will wait for a member to ask or demonstrate an obvious need for assistance, and then provide excellent guidance on how to use a given machine or perform a given exercise. This is about the 20th gym we have used over the years, and by far it is the nicest in terms of atmosphere and cleanliness. I highly recommend Santa Clara Snap Fitness to anyone interested in ...
American Barbell Clubs

ABC has been a great location to have in Santa Clara and the gym equipment is mostly functional. Recently as of the beginning of 2024, some of the maintenance seems to be lacking, the bathrooms tend to be dirty with no paper supplies, and the water drinkers seem to be “broken”.I would highly suggest having 2 water drinkers of the same modern kind.
FNS Training Center
2342 Walsh Ave, Santa Clara, CA 95051, United States
FNS Training Center is my sanctuary, my temple. Every time I step foot in this gym, I feel like Im in a meditative state - worries left at the door, surrounded by the rhythm of music and the gentle clang of weights. Its a transformative experience that nourishes both body, soul n psyche. The trainers are knowledgeable and supportive, the atmosphere is electric, and the results are real. I cant recommend FNS enough - its a true gem in Santa Clara. 5 stars isnt enough - Id give it 10 if I could! ???
