Fit Athletic Club & Gym
12171 World Trade Dr, San Diego, CA 92128, United States
I love this facility. They are doing a lot of upgrades and really making it a new space. (Compared to when it was Frogs Gym years ago) The childcare center is filled with the sweetest women. Monica and Zoey are so sweet to my kiddos. I’ve had other gyms where my kids were reluctant to stay. At Fit, my kids ask if we can go to the gym. The FitGrit classes are a great workout. Dawn is a wonderful instructor who has an encouraging and commanding voice. I do wish she taught more classes. Aleksandra is great for one on one sessions. I recently took a yoga class and was pleasantly surprised how great it was.

Brainstorm Fitness
3425 Fifth Ave Unit 4, San Diego, CA 92103, United States
All I gotta say is George-Anthony and his team at Brainstorm Fitness are beyond professionals. As an Athlete that competes in multiple sports and have sustained multiple injuries from running, basketball and even golf; I must say the training program is absolutely incredible. The philosophy and execution of all my workouts have been unique and have helped me start to learn that there are better ways to lift, run and do just about anything when it comes to this industry. I've only been with the BF team for a couple of weeks and I'm already feeling stronger, faster and more explosive. My injuries to my ankles and back have dramatically improved, as well as my mindset to what working out means. If you haven't given BF a try or are curious to know what's going on…. Please do yourself the favor of coming into their facility and getting some authentic incredible insight to what they are doing. If you're a “real” athlete and are looking for that one thing that's gonna get you to the next level; wherever it's HS, College or professional sports, come through and check it out. I'm about to put all dancers and hoopers on notice in about 90 days ?… no but really, the BF team is amazing is about to up my game to new heights! I'll see y'all around and thanks Brainstorm Fitness for being hella dope ?

I love a little cozy Place to have an event there. I attended 2 events there so far felt that Management is really nice and cooperative. They allow food to be served out in the patio and looked pretty convenient. There is plenty of parking all around. Location is quite safe as well.

24 Hour Fitness
4345 Imperial Ave, San Diego, CA 92113, United States
This place is the filthiest 24 Hour fitness center in the whole San Diego county. The men’s toilet, shower and locker are dirty and filthy. The drain is clogged up.I complained to the manager several times but NO changes have been done.It also reflect to the kind of people that comes to this place.#filthyplace.

Chuze Fitness
1233 Camino del Rio S, San Diego, CA 92108, United States
This fitness center is amazing. All of the equipment you need to begin working out or get serious about it. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. The center is clean and organized. I would enjoy it more if the members interacted more, but that is each persons decision. It is a great price for a great gym!! I live downtown and still choose Chuze!

Ive been attending this gym for the last 6 months, and I am glad I switched and I will tell you why;First, the bread butter: The equipment options are great. There is plenty of space, and while some of the equipment is older, it gets the job done. Theyve purchased a lot of newer machines and due to the space they made outside, theres always room to get something done. The amenities: One of the best gyms for full amenities at their price range. Sauna, Steam room, FOOD!?!? good food too. Ice baths, massage guys, cupping guys, and complimentary classes. They have tanning and theyre putting in a salt room. Who knows whats next.and last, The Vibes: Truly a welcoming place for all skill levels and waypoints in a fitness journey. Dont let the big muscles and toned abs intimidate you, everyone there is super nice, and truly enjoys the fitness process. A great place to learn. The times I go, I am usually greeted by Dawson, Connor and Roxie, and they make it a point to say hello and its got a family feel to it. The owner is super cool and you can tell hes invested a lot of money to make his gym premier. Immaculate Vibes, 10/10 would lift again.

Fit Athletic Club & Gym

I’ll start by saying the location of this gym is extremely convenient if you live or work in Downtown San Diego. Although, when there is an event at Petco Park, you will have to deal with those crowds. This gym has a very small free weight area and it gets so incredibly crowded during peak areas. If you are like me, and only have time to workout in the late afternoon/early evening, you will be waiting forever to get on a free weight bench and will end up having to resort to using machines. The gym also does not have much power lifting equipment. If you want to do deadlifts, etc, this is not the gym for you. They don’t have rubber plates. The staff is friendly when you are in the gym, and they were extremely attentive in answering my questions and signing me up. However, I have sent several cancellation emails to their membership services department and have not received confirmation or acknowledgment that my emails have been received. Meanwhile, they continue to charge me. I am cancelling because it is way too crowded a gym, and they lack pretty standard equipment, and I cannot justify paying a monthly membership to only use the same machines that are my apartment’s community fitness center.

ES Fitness

The sales pressure for customers is so real.It is the commission of the fitness managers and district managers that matters.I was signed up for a year contract with personal trainer with a verbal disclosure that I was only signing up for a trial of a day and if I don’t like it I can cancel anytime.I put a stop payment on my bank account for the trainer fee because I noticed while I was overseas that the fitness center was charging me every 2 weeks for the personal training fee, I called the gym and asked to close my account but was told I can’t because I signed a year contract and the gym sent me to 3rd party collector for the payment owed. I was told by the collector that in a month it is going to reflect in credit bureaus if I don’t pay.I work in Financial Institution with strict requirement of healthy financial fitness and getting into collection would cost me my job.I never used a personal trainer- NOT a day but now owed $300 and a 3rd party collector keep calling me to pay otherwise my credit will be affected.I have reached out to Angel, the fitness manager but recommended me to talk to his District Manager . Angel who pressured me to sign up a year contract without properly explaining the contract can’t do anything and his District Manager never responded to my email and not in favor that I close my membership. District Manager did not call me or did anything to ask what really happened.I was told today that Angle would arrange to have me a fitness trainer as his final words because he can’t close my account.I am so helpless and feel so violated with my consumer rights.I would not recommend this gym to my family, friends, clients and to anybody.I’m hiring a lawyer if anybody is interested.
