THESEVEN Gym
1761 E Garry Ave, Santa Ana, CA 92705, United States
The vibe. The community. The trainers. Everything about this gym is perfect! Did a bit of gym shopping in OC before discovering this gym and it blew every other gym out of the water. It has that exclusive, private feel while still being edgy and aesthetic. And finally a gym that’s not overcrowded! The trainers are all super friendly and knowledgeable. I’ve worked with a couple of different trainers here and each experience has been one of pure accomplishment. They will PUSH you and leave you sore but also know how to have a laugh and some fun between the reps. Before coming here I had been training independently for 3 years, and now I leave every coaching session feeling more on track, better about my form, and closer to my goals. They do personal training and group training. The boxing ring is a cool new addition, and I’m looking forward to giving that class a try!
ES Fitness
1501 N Tustin Ave, Santa Ana, CA 92705, United States
I went to eos fitness last Sunday because I had a free 7 day trial run. When I arrived I was greeted by a very rude customer service guy. Then sat down and told me the fees and did the tour of the gym. After sitting down once again to only tell me I can’t use the gym because my ID does not show orange, Santa Ana or Tustin! Which is stupid because I live in Tustin and my ID shows Tustin. I walked out and could not believe the audacity of this member service guy. I was referred and as soon as I left I also told my friend to not join. I later on received a text asking how my visit was and I flat out told them it was a horrible experience I’ve ever had at any gym. I will never go here let alone have my friend become a member here. You guys are the most unprofessional, rude people I’ve came across.
Elite Fitness Downtown
214 N Broadway, Santa Ana, CA 92701, United States
Elite Fitness DowntownTo describe Elite Fitness Downtown and Joaquin Martinez? One has to include the art shows, the music, the parties for members, fundraisers for sick members, and a community of kind people working towards health, fitness, and the betterment of the lives around them.In order to get a full sense of the vibe? Elite Fitness Downtown is in The Historic District of Downtown Santa Ana, Ca. The original capital of California. Buildings that used to be hotels that American Presidents stayed at. Magnificent architecture from the turn of the 19th to the 20th century, 30’s High Art Deco fixtures…it’s like waking through a museum. The whole neighborhood. To top all of this is Elite Fitness Downtown’s commitment to art, music, artists, and the monthly Art Walk in Downtown Santa Ana, Ca. One of the oldest and most established art centers in the US.And to finish? Joaquin Martinez is a classically trained musician whose music heals and enriches the lives of the people that hear it. You can see him playing Saxophone in the pictures. From playing and helping support Art Walk Santa Ana to playing events for local businesses, events, and even DJ’ing events for gym members.Elite Fitness Downtown is more like a community and a lifestyle than what is traditionally thought of as a gym; it is a hub of mental, spiritual, & physical health.

Ive pretty much been to all the 24’s in oc. None of them have anything on this ones pool area thats forsure. Definitely the fanciest with lake forest being a close second. I mean forreal that pool area makes you upset the gym isnt your house. But a few things made me mad.1 this seems to be the common issues of all 24’s, their saunas arent that hot. I also go to eos in santa ana and none of the 24’s saunas are as hot as theirs. I mean if you go in eos’ sauna and then go to 24’s you cant even tell if its on.2 This is the closest 24 to me being only 1.5 miles from my house. About 6 months ago I called in to see if they have a steam room bc who doesnt fluctuate from the sauna to steam. And the intellectually challenged girl tells me this location only has a sauna and no steam room. I went their yesterday for the first time and the guy behind the counter tells me theyve always had one. So ive just been driving 7 miles to irvine every time i wanna go to 24 for no reason. Cool. Also their employees are rude as he11 i try not to ask questions bc their attitude might make me snap and cuss somebody out as nice as i am.
Sender One Climbing & Sender City - Santa Ana
1441 Village Way, Santa Ana, CA 92705, United States
Im a climber of 7? years and a reluctant member of this gym... Its got tall walls, routes are set pretty frequently, theres a few cracks, and theres classes, fitness center, and training tools (campus board, hangboards, 2 moonboards and a kilter board). But its clear that this gym prioritizes attracting new climbers over pushing existing climbers to get better. How so?1) The grades are soft, the setting is boring especially on ropes. Yes, gyms are softer than outside, but Senders grades are a whole number grade (maybe more) softer than other gyms. Even the cone, until you get to like... 11c/d, its just a jug haul, albeit a steep one.2) During peak Covid restrictions, members were restricted to one single 2-hour session a day, and long before members were allowed to climb for longer (2 hours is not enough!!!), non-members and new people (aka the $$$-makers) were returning to the gym. Meanwhile, other gyms like PG prioritized letting members climb for longer sessions first. I feel like this was a clear signal showing who and what Sender prioritizes.3) Why are the training centers hours so restrictive? On top of that, if the kids (aka more $$$ for the gym) are training on the boards, then good luck getting any time on the boards during your reservations.4) Theyre always churning through classes and clinics (which is great)... but theyre misguided. Theres adult training club and a plethora of classes for improving movement and technique.... This takes us back to #1 - why not just set better climbs that teach new people something?5) Finally, a petty one... Why are you guys always promoting your new merch??? Yes youre a business, but youre not a clothing store. Youre a gym. That said, I do enjoy climbing here and always have a fun session. The staff is nice! The climbers are nice! The facilities are nice! I do also wish the other locations werent all the way in LA...

..., they’re always friendly and helpful and very approachable. I am always greeted with a smile when I check in and when leaving same always with a smile saying good night. the location is also clean, The Planet Fitness franchise is great, you do get a lot of value for your black card membership. My main concern is not with the staff or Planet Fitness franchise, but with this location in general (2725 N Bristol St Santa Ana, CA 92706). This location has been my “home gym” for a while ever since I joined planet fitness back in 2018 or 2019. This location is a little older and possibly smaller than other planet fitness gyms I been to. however, it is super convenient since it’s really close to my job. I never really had any issue with this location, I was always able to get a decent workout, few exceptions when the gym was busier than most other days. However, for the past 3 – 4 months, this location has gotten increasingly worse and overcrowded. Mainly due to a group of about 15-20 high school kids the seem to all come in at the same time and take over the entire dumbbell area and smith machines. They stand around talking and staring at their phones, they completely monopolize all or most of the dumbbells and benches using 3 or 4 different dumbbells at a time. It’s very difficult to find or use a dumbbell and bench. It gets extremely overcrowded it’s like working out in a high school gym. Seems like the entire local high school sports team goes to this location to workout at the same time.Additionally, this group of 15 – 20 high school kids have no gym etiquette whatsoever. 1). they stand right in front dumbbell rack to do their reps, then they stand there and flex and pose right in front of the dumbbells, making it very difficult for you to grab or even attempt to put back your dumbbell. 2) they leave the dumbbells laying around on the floor along with their backs laying on the floor. I would say this is a safety hazard, someone could very easily trip over ...

I enjoy it here. Only feedback I have is the combination lockers are stuck on unlock and you can’t lock it. I’ve seen people just keep things in unlocked lockers. I asked for assistance and they never sent anyone to help. Other than that not bad for a small gym.

Watch People, lots of THIEVES come to this location, on October 10th some one broke into my locker and stolen all my belonging including a valuable gold chain....he broke the locker ....and on the top of that he tried to use my credit cards in Santa Ana stores....i believe its more than one person ...they watch people and they find their victim .....WATCH YOUR WALLETS AND BELONGINGS ...and dont bring to this location any belongings if you still feel want to work out around a gang of thieves .....The bad part and what i take against the gym few thingsFirst: they dont notify or aware the people from these types of incident that is happening at the gymSecond: There is the back exit door to the out side, and its open to any thief to get away with his crimeThird: the attitude with some one that his belonging been stolen was ridicules ...Forth: this place will not provide any protection to their customers like other gymsFifth: Sales people focus on selling you and closing their deal more than providing you with the proper informationSixth: the crew never warn you from these type of activitiesLAST: usual at the gyms they keep some one in the bathroom areas and locker room kind of cleaning and watching after people.....here actually you hardly see any oneFor the amount of money we spend with them a month we can get a member ship in a very nice gym and knowing that you are protected.Dont be a victim like me
