I dont usually review but when I do, this fitness center deserves it. I found them on Google. At first, I was VERY skeptical only because they had bad review. I dont know why i took the chance and still went in to give it a try. My goodness, thank GOD i did, because not only the staff was nice. The place had everything i needed. And price, so good! Ive been to many fitness, yes there are nice ones but nothing like Eos. 2 story, so clean, literally everything was perfect. They had every machines, different workout areas. I cannot find a thing I can complain about. So I suggest, dont follow those negative reviews, Dont wait go try it out!

Elite Fitness Downtown

Elite Fitness DowntownTo describe Elite Fitness Downtown and Joaquin Martinez? One has to include the art shows, the music, the parties for members, fundraisers for sick members, and a community of kind people working towards health, fitness, and the betterment of the lives around them.In order to get a full sense of the vibe? Elite Fitness Downtown is in The Historic District of Downtown Santa Ana, Ca. The original capital of California. Buildings that used to be hotels that American Presidents stayed at. Magnificent architecture from the turn of the 19th to the 20th century, 30’s High Art Deco fixtures…it’s like waking through a museum. The whole neighborhood. To top all of this is Elite Fitness Downtown’s commitment to art, music, artists, and the monthly Art Walk in Downtown Santa Ana, Ca. One of the oldest and most established art centers in the US.And to finish? Joaquin Martinez is a classically trained musician whose music heals and enriches the lives of the people that hear it. You can see him playing Saxophone in the pictures. From playing and helping support Art Walk Santa Ana to playing events for local businesses, events, and even DJ’ing events for gym members.Elite Fitness Downtown is more like a community and a lifestyle than what is traditionally thought of as a gym; it is a hub of mental, spiritual, & physical health.

24 Hour Fitness
2800 N Main St Unit 3100, Santa Ana, CA 92705, United States
This gym has a no gym bags on the floor policy. They say this on the video presentation while you are in the gym. The staff here is extremely lazy and unprofessional. Last week on Friday there were over 20 gym bags out on the floor. These are trip hazards and in the way. I went to the desk today as I heard their video saying no gym bags allowed on the gym floor and once again there were four people 3 with very large gym bags in the work out area. I am posting picture of these gym bags. The guy working at the desk said he did not know of such Policy. He said we will play the video again shortly. I said you can play the video all you want, but if you do nothing about it, then you are not doing your job. Why implement rules that you are not going to enforce? I said if someone trips over these bags and gets hurt 24 hour fitness could get a huge lawsuit. There is often staff on their cell phones, visiting at the front, just laughing and hanging out. Very lazy staff, except for one guy. There is a very nice man working there who has dreadlocks and he works harder than anyone in that entire gym. He is always cleaning and working harder than anyone else in the club. 24 hour fitness used to be a leader in the fitness industry. However, now they just a contender. I would think they would want to stand out. They have rules and people do not follow them and they do not implement them. They do not mind keeping members with bad behaviors, yet they tend to forget all the members they actually lose because of this. If I had a dollar for every time I heard someone complain and say they wanted to find a fitness center with rules and other member respect, I would be a rich man. I posted a picture of the 4 large gym bags from today, but there were also very large back packs everywhere that I did not include below. 24 hour should get back the reputation they once had and implement rules and keep good members that respect one anothers privileges.

Planet Fitness
2725 N Bristol St, Santa Ana, CA 92706, United States
I would like to start this review by saying the staff at this location is great, they're always friendly and helpful and very approachable. I am always greeted with a smile when I check in and when leaving same always with a smile saying good night. the location is also clean, The Planet Fitness franchise is great, you do get a lot of value for your black card membership. My main concern is not with the staff or Planet Fitness franchise, but with this location in general (2725 N Bristol St Santa Ana, CA 92706). This location has been my “home gym” for a while ever since I joined planet fitness back in 2018 or 2019. This location is a little older and possibly smaller than other planet fitness gyms I been to. however, it is super convenient since it's really close to my job. I never really had any issue with this location, I was always able to get a decent workout, few exceptions when the gym was busier than most other days. However, for the past 3 – 4 months, this location has gotten increasingly worse and overcrowded. Mainly due to a group of about 15-20 high school kids the seem to all come in at the same time and take over the entire dumbbell area and smith machines. They stand around talking and staring at their phones, they completely monopolize all or most of the dumbbells and benches using 3 or 4 different dumbbells at a time. It's very difficult to find or use a dumbbell and bench. It gets extremely overcrowded it's like working out in a high school gym. Seems like the entire local high school sports team goes to this location to workout at the same time.Additionally, this group of 15 – 20 high school kids have no gym etiquette whatsoever. 1). they stand right in front dumbbell rack to do their reps, then they stand there and flex and pose right in front of the dumbbells, making it very difficult for you to grab or even attempt to put back your dumbbell. 2) they leave the dumbbells laying around on the floor along with their backs laying on the floor. I would say this is a safety hazard, someone could very easily trip over a backpack or dumbbell and get serious hurt or injured. I understand that they are paying for their monthly dues and have right to use the gym. But the management team at this location should either tell this group of kids to come in at different times, spread out and not cluster all together in the same area or have them change to a different location as their home gym.As of lately, I have also noticed some shady characters that seem to only go in to use the facilities i.e showers and locker room area. I say shady because when you carry your “workout” clothes inside a grocery store plastic bag, then I would say that's kinda shady. But at a starting monthly membership of $9.99 per month, I guess that's the type of clientele you would expect to attract. Shady characters and high school kids, that can afford to pay $9.99 a month. As I mention the black card membership give you a good value for your money. There's nothing wrong with the planet fitness franchise, but I will be changing my home gym to another planet fitness location, all though not as close or convenient hopefully the new location is not like working out in a high school gym. in general, all planet fitness location has way too much cardio equipment, maybe if they removed half of the cardio equipment and added more weight machines or dumbbells then this location wouldn't feel so busy and overcrowded and you can get a decent workout.I would stay away from this location as your home gym actually, I was just stay away completely from this location. Unless, If you enjoy working out in an overcrowded high school gym type of environment, with dumbbells, backpacks and skateboards laying around. Then this location will be great for you.

Planet fitness has the rudest most disrespectful members on the planet. I went there this morning and will look for another fitness center. Im canceling my membership with planet fitness. Their members and management simply does not care about their members. We are all paying members and should all be given fair access to free weights. I was there this morning and a member had 5 sets of weights out around his bench so not one other member could use those weights. You can only workout with one set at a time. Planet fitness says they have a policy in regards to this but no one adheres to this policy. I am done with planet fitness and its intimidating rude members.

Shout out to Mr.Bryce Hara for being a great manager and making me feel welcomed in this gym.Edit:I lowered it down to 4 stars for this reason:I called to check the hours on 4-31-24, the employee I spoke to at 9:15am, reassured me this specific location would be open regular hours, 6am to 8pm, despite the website saying hours might differ. When I got to the Gym, when I noticed the rain stopped, it was 6:48pm, along with a couple other people, we where told the Gym would close at 7pm.Not sure if the employees in the evening choose to party and close early, or what, but we pay for our membership, we have the right to work out, and not get lied to at the last minute, when we get to the doors of the Gym.Some of us that dont drive, dont have it easy, to get to other Gyms that are further, some Ubers dont allow scooters as well as some buses. Please show specific times, so that us members, dont waste our time showing up just to be told the Gym will be closing soon, or its already closed.Thank you.

Ive been attending Zumba classes here with Teo for a couple of months now and I love it. I love the variety of music and dances. Teo has quite a following and you feel a sense of community in her classes. I see familiar faces every time and new ones as well. The energy is contagious. I also love that there are different age groups and men/women in various stages of their fitness level. And everyone is having fun. The ladies at the counter in the drink cafe are friendly as well.

Very friendly and un-intimidating vibe. I once wore a compression shirt to Yoga with my wife and was heckled endlessly about it for years. The program here and at LAX has enabled.... nay, empowered me, to regain confidence in myself.

OC boxing and fitness is a wonderful place! I have my 7yr old son enrolled in the youth class and he loves it! Most of all he really likes his coach (Jason Williams), Jason works so well with the kids and they get a great work out! Prices are great as well, I have had my son at other gyms and the pricing was outragious and they diddnt take time out for the kids that were falling behind or diddnt understand the instruction. You wont find that problem here at OC Boxing!
