Comment: This gym is the worst neighbor Ive ever had and I would not wish a neighbor like this upon anyone. Right now the gym is closed, yet the music is blasting with one employee sitting on their phone. In the past, when I asked the owner to lower the volume of his gyms music, he filed a fraudulent restraining order against me. He lost in court because it was obvious to the judge that he is a liar and a bully. Please do not patronize this place, there are many options for gyms that dont negatively impact local residents and and enable a really bad person to continue to harass his neighbor.Incredibly noisy music, punching bags next to a common wall and when he was approached about it, the owner is extremely rude and dismissive and threatened me with violence and shoved me twice.Weve had no peace since this gym moved in and the owner simply doesnt care. When confronted, claims his business makes, no noise. Please have compassion and dont support this business. Having a membership here is effectively supporting a really bad and dangerous person. Please dont be an enabler for such a nasty person.

Comment: I love Park Gym!! I come here 5-6 days a week and take mostly boxing & weight lifting classes. My husband and I discovered Park Gym in 2020 on Geary right before quarantine went into effect. We re-discovered Park Gym in 2022 and resumed boxing classes 1x weekly. Things progressed, we met great people here, and now were hooked. We bought the unlimited plan, took the Level 2 boxing exam and spar on Thursdays.I feel healthy & strong, more confident. Ive made great friends & love the community that David Park has built here! The instructors are knowledgeable & encouraging - before this, I didnt know my way around a bar bell or really any free weight equipment. Now, I do, though Im constantly learning more. And they have a delicious cafe to top the experience off. 10/10 recommend. Come check out this beautiful space, so much natural light. And be sure to greet Molly if she doesnt welcome you first!

Comment: I love the idea of having a gym and cafe in one spot - I can get work done, get a killer workout in, and grab a delicious meal after. The space is clean and spacious, the staff are friendly, caring, attentive and inclusive of everyone (even the pups!). Make sure to stop by if youre in the area. Free class with first drink purchase!

Comment: I love this place, the people and the workouts so much. It used to be near me in the Inner Richmond, but now the space on Divis is so gorgeous and I love the classes so much I travel to the new location. Totally addicted to this boxing workout from the first class. Teachers are so helpful with beginners and attentive to form and technique. ❤️ the Park Gym.

Comment: I haven’t taken a class at this place, so this isn’t a review on the class. From the 1 experience, you can’t be more than even a minute late. They will lock the door and no one will come out to say why it’s locked, just standing there outside while everyone works out and ignores you. Horrible experience in my opinion, most gyms will have had the courtesy to just shake the head at you, say you’re late, and deny you the class. Being late was my fault, but the way they treat potential customer that paid, would not recommend to anyone. It had potential, but I’m not coming back.

Comment: Extremely expensive, instructor was incredibly rude/mean. yelled at me for being literally 1 minute late on my first day even though I was there early and jsut didnt know where to go.Over 30 minutes of the hour long class was just unstructured dead lifts -- the instructor did nothing, was just cahtting with random people outside of class and texting. This gym is basically a scam.

Comment: Unhelpful staff when I emailed them (6 times over 4 days). Also kept on deleting my online account without any email or explanation.Gym also does not have a changing room, just a regular small bathroom (not a gym-style bathroom that fits lots of people). Doesnt have lockers either. And the whole place smells like sweat without much air ventilation, altho it is a gym. Boxing gloves are very sweaty and a little gross, if you go long term, you should get your own gloves!

Comment: Nice clean gym with very helpful instructors! I am new to the gym and this types of training. The instructors are very patient. In one class I had to do box jumping and I was intimidated by the height of those boxes.. the instructor (either Juan or Mario) was very patient and he gradually increased the height by stacking multiple weight discs so I could eventually adapt and was able to do box jumps in the end of the class. The instructors keep a good balance between being patient and tough (some other gyms they just yell at you I really dont like it).I found the training (combination of body weight and apparatus) very efficient. Will definitely visit more often.

Comment: Did the ParkFit workout the other day. 5-stars, if youre looking for something not completely CrossFit, but more of HIIT Training focused on pushing your max effort, cardio, and actually making you work. This is the spot. Killer facility, and they also have a water machine with 8!! different types of tapped water.

Comment: Awesome experience with a very friendly and helpful staff. I am only visiting SF for a month and they had no problem letting me sign up for such a short time and even gave me my first two weeks free! I have been to the gym four times now just before the top of the hour and the staff has had no problem with me signing up for the very next class about to begin. This had proved an incredible convenience with my crazy schedule. Though I havent been able to sign up for the crossfit class bc of a required amount of ramp classes the beginner level training is more than enough for a good exercise.

Comment: David Park is an amazing instructor, not just the workout aspect either, he can motivate you to get into action whether your a former-athlete whos interested in getting-back-into-it, or even your a concerned newbie who is totally outta shape, he really cares about people creating a successful start so that you get results. Lot of wisdom that youll never forget and he has an authentic desire to keep you safe and injury free. (taught me how to move around my knee injury etc) You gotta meet and train with him to know what I mean.

Comment: I only took the boxing class, not the Crossfit class.Heres what I would say - you spent a decent amount of time warming up - about 20 to 25 minutes (and its only a 1 hour class). Then, you partner up and you work on drills as you hit the bag (the partner basically is there to help hold the bag for you). Then, you do some pushups and situps at the very end.I took it with David (the owner), and Ill say that he doesnt really put a lot of effort into teaching beginners. This was my second boxing class (earlier this morning, I took a beginner boxing class at Hit Fit SF) and David didnt spent a lot of time on foot work or on arm work. And I could see that a lot of people were a bit lost, especially when they were just punching the bag and not really understanding the footwork.Im not sure I would come back as the boxing class at Park Gym mixes beginners and intermediate, so I dont think its the best use of my time.
