Comment: Lindsey is genuinely an incredible person who is generous with her time, attention, and yummy recipes. I was about 7 months postpartum when I started working with Lindsey and remained a client for nearly 7 months. During that time, I was still emotionally all over the place, struggled with some injuries, and had a hard time adjusting to my postpartum fitness level. Lindsey was so patient and gentle with me. She tailored sessions to meet me where I was physically and mentally. She met me at every high and low with understanding and without judgment; and because of that, she helped me regain confidence inside and outside the gym. That meant the world to me as a new mom struggling with my changed body and physicality. She made me feel like a friend, not just a client. Under Lindseys guidance, I havent had knee or hip pains in months, I completed my first 10k (something I couldnt even do before having a baby) and I can confidently say I feel fit!Not to mention, I hope to be at least half as amazing of a mom as her. She is a true fitness mom role model. Anyone would benefit from training with Lindsey, but postpartum mommas, do yourself a favor and sign up quickly :).

Comment: Lindsey has been training me the last 7 months and I have seen SO many results. i’ve been active my entire life but had recently gained a lot of weight and had pain in my back and hips. Lindsey has consistently pushed me while keeping me injury free this entire time. In the last 7 months i have lost over 20 pounds and found a trainer who is not only really fun to workout with but also is a great accountability partner. Comment: My goal with Chris was to learn how to approach the gym and strength training. In 3 months, he was able to get me from out of shape to performing back squats and deadlifts. Comment: Spending all day at a desk was taking a toll on my body . I started to get low back and neck pains and it just kept getting worse . I knew that stretching and other types of exercise would help a lot so I hired Chris Keith to help me get back in shape and could not be happier with my results . His nutrition plan is simplified and very easy to follow. His private gym is spacious and very well equipped with plenty of parking. Comment: If you are in search of a personal trainer, please look no further. Chris is the absolute best at what he does and is a game-changer!Where was I at as a first time client? I was in the worst shape of my life. Once COVID hit and the gyms closed, I was in a bad place mentally and physically. I stopped working out and it lasted for 1.5 years. I had low energy, mental fog, and was eating nothing but fast food since I was pretty depressed about my appearance. My confidence was completely shot and none of my shirts fit me. Horrible! Comment: I joined this place a few years back and finally did this review. He was always short with me and when he trained me in person years ago he would be extremely unprofessional and yelled at me when I didnt do the exercises right. This has happened twice then my boyfriend told me to quit. He will always appeal negative reviews and has all his buddies write positive ones. This guy is rude, snobby, and is really rude to members, specifically females.  By the way, ask him his real name. Its not Chris Keith.  Hes been hiding his real name for years. You probably wont see his ways to verify this (i.e. high school yearbook, ID, etc.) Ask him about his past and his record.  Maybe thats why his name is not his real name. Explain to the members why your name is not real and you are rude to members so much.

Comment: I have trained with Chris for the last six months and the experience has been amazing! He isn’t like any other trainer I’ve worked with in the past. For one, he cares about your overall health. When I first started he worked to understand why I was there - what my goals were, where my limitations had been in the past, etc. He provided me nutrition advice that I could work to meet my needs; it was flexible and simple, unlike a lot of the rigid meal plans you often see, which meant I was able to stick with it despite a demanding personal schedule.Additionally, Chris works to understand what motivates you. My wife and I both train with him, and he has intuitively picked up the differences between us, and leverages that to train each of us as we need, individually. He is extremely cognizant of injuries and carefully works around my various issues. And his workouts are downright fun! Comment: I started working with Chris February of last year in 2020. Since then, Chris has not only become my personal trainer, coach, mentor but also a friend. Ever since I joined have I not only gotten healthier and achieved my goals, but also learned to value myself again and regain my confidence. Before I knew Chris I did not know how to work out in a gym or how to take care of myself from a fitness or nutritional side of view. My weight has always fluctuated due to a underlying disease which did not help my mental or general health state. Chris and his gym became my safe place. Comment: If I could workout with Chris for the rest of my life, I would. I didnt have any crazy fitness goals, but I wanted to get stronger and more toned, and I’ve seen solid progress thanks to Chris. Ive learned better form for pretty much everything, and his cues are very helpful and not overwhelming. Our workouts have been my favorite part of my day for the past few months and Ive really enjoyed our conversations throughout. His personal gym has everything (including his two dogs which are awesome) and he shares it with you as if youre family. Im very particular about what I spend my money and time on, and working with Chris was well worth it.

Comment: Met Chris after a back surgery. Chris was very professional, smart & cares about each client and dedicates his knowledge and time on-a one on one basis. He knows a lot about training and takes his profession very serious. Comment: I cant say enough positive things about my experience, so far, with Chris. My wife and I started visiting Chris after a traumatic event in 2020. I started looking in the mirror and decided that I needed to change the way I was living and my wife was more than happy to join my efforts. In June 2020 I was taking medication for high blood pressure and recently diagnosed with high cholesterol and was taking medicine for that too.About a month and a half after completely changing my diet and starting exercise, my LDL levels had gone from 177 to 52, cholesterol from 256 to 108, and triglycerides from 189 to 79. Theres no doubt that the rigorous change helped lower these numbers a lot faster than had it just been medication.Im posting a picture of May 2020 shortly after the golf courses reopened (in red) and November 2020 (in black). Ive lost 68lbs so far in my journey and anticipate not just continuing to lose weight but sustaining the lifestyle as well.Chris has been with my wife and I every step of the way. Hes hands on but not overbearing. Hell hold you accountable but provide the resources to keep you on the right path. Hes encouraging and insanely invested in everyone he works with. It makes it easy to push through hard days and rewarding every time I step on the scale and see a number I havent seen in at least a decade.

Comment: I was introduced to Chris Keith via a coworker, who after not having seen in 4~5 months, I almost didn’t recognize based on her amazing transformation (50+ pounds weight loss). Comment: I started training with Chris to regain muscle and loose weight after beating cancer in my early 30’s. I tried working out on my own for almost a year but wasn’t loosing any weight. As a result of his personal training, I am healthier and stronger than ever before! Comment: For a while, I always considered getting a trainer. I would follow YouTube videos and motivate myself to be consistent at the gym for a years, and thought that was enough, but it wasn’t until meeting Chris did I really level up and feel such a sense of control and power with all of my workouts.From Day one, Chris sits you down and has an initial meeting to get a feel of your background, who you are as a person, responsibilities you have in life, and of course what is your biggest goal you want in the gym. After this first of many wonderful conversations, he has already devised a perfect plan to help bring out your peak results through workouts that match you. I was shocked to also learn he gives people access to his gym 24/7 and will give you workouts to do on your own. So while I was paying for 3 sessions with him a week, I was able to go in on days we weren’t training together for his intense and very rewarding low impact cardio workouts. This shows how his #1 priority is you, he wants to provide you with every resource to not only grow muscle, but grow as a person. It also cannot be said enough how great this man is at conversation. If you have any questions about diets, how to handstand/muscle up/squat properly/get a 6 pack while drinking boba, or anything in the realm of fitness, he will have a detailed answer with proper sources ready in seconds.Now you are probably reading all this like “ok great but what’s the catch” and simply put the only negative thing I have ever thought while training with Chris is simply “WHY DIDNT I HIRE HIM SOONER”. Because after one year with Chris, I can 100% say has been more impactful and rewarding than the previous 6 years combined. I have gotten stronger in all my lifts and can only feel progress ahead. I found his private fitness training studios on Yelp and I started training with him in January of 2019 when I was at a low point in my personal life and struggling with the pressures of my demanding job. Chris helped me turn all this around through not only improving my health, fitness, and physique—but through my attitude and ability to push through tough workouts and tough times in life.I cannot recommend my trainer Chris Keith enough. His private studios are INCREDIBLY CLEAN. Unlike regular gyms, the studios and equipment are cleaned regularly and the clients who share the space are all like-minded and keep the gym very very clean. Additionally, cleaning and maintenance crews come regularly to make sure the equipment is functioning perfectly and is pristine, disinfected, and sanitized.Chris has become more than a trainer to me. He is someone who pushes me to be my best self, motivates me to work hard for the sound mind and body I’ve always wanted, and he makes everything fun. Personal Training with Chris has changed my life and both he and the studios are worth every penny. Comment: I am super picky and always do a ton of research prior to spending my hard-earned money, and let me tell you, hiring Chris Keith as my personal trainer was one of the best investments I’ve ever made.His gym is massive – but private! Walking into the large facility for my first session I was intimidated imagining a bunch of perfectly sculpted bodies grunting in front of mirrors, but instead it was just Chris and I (and his awesome gym dogs Max and Cooper). When you work with Chris it’s one-on-one, with no distractions or other clients scheduled during your sessions. All his positive energy, focused attention and time is dedicated to you—which made me feel I was truly getting my money’s worth. And on top of that, he provides his clients with 24/7 access to his gym—so on days I don’t train with him I am still able to workout without needing to pay a monthly membership at another gym. The environment is positive and comfortable; and we all have a sense of pride, as Chris does, in “our” gym.Chris has an immense knowledge on how to activate muscles most effectively, proper form and knows when you’re ready for more weight or more advanced training. He is honest with you—Yup, he is going to call it like he sees it and motivate you to push yourself (inside the gym and out). Other trainers I’ve tried do the same cookie-cutter workouts for everyone and utilize a one-size fits all training model. Not Chris! His training his individualized and personal, taking into account every clients goals, health, past injuries, and development. Comment: I found Chris online one weekend - traveling, feeling gross and out of shape. I would hit the gym regularly over the years, but eventually plateaued and just couldnt achieve any more on my own. I searched for, “best-trainer-San Diego”, and there he was. Every trainer think’s they’re awesome at what they do and god knows I’ve wasted lots of money on many of them, but there’s something really unique about Chris recipe that I was thrilled to find. This time I wanted someone legit. The whole package. Meaning someone who not only looked the part, but also someone who was relatable. Someone educated, experienced and passionate in what they were preaching/teaching. Someone who could find that delicate balance of holding me accountable by leading me with just a liiiittle bit of fear (eat this, not that), while also remaining chill and totally approachable. Thats Chris Keith. Hes able to offer all of those things in an environment thats inclusive and works for anybody so long as youre willing to put in the work. And once youre in, you will. And progress is addicting. His gym is large, clean, FUN, conveniently located and has everything you could possibly need (including great music and immaculate bathrooms). Even equipment you never knew existed that somehow is totally necessary. About 10 months in and Ive truly never felt or looked better and plan to continue on this journey. That all changed in the last 4 months - I’ve gained roughly 25lbs of lean body weight and my waist size is still the same!Coming from a family of skinny individuals, I failed on pretty much every bulking attempt. I had tried to gain weight multiple times in the past, trying different programs, books, trainers, etc. Nothing quite had a lasting impact.  About 7 years ago I mostly gave up trying and instead began wearing slimmer fitting clothes to give the illusion of looking fit, LOL.But skinny doesnt necessarily mean healthy, even though most friends and coworkers assumed I was healthy, just because I was so thin. They envied my ability to ‘eat anything and not gain weight.’ In reality, that meant I could get super unhealthy on the inside without really showing it on the outside. Id actually had a few health scares in the past couple years.  After losing a dear family member recently, it made me realize how truly short life is, and that perhaps I should give bulking and gaining weight one last good attempt. So I decided to hire a personal trainer.When researching trainers, I contacted 9 gyms and trainers in the San Diego area. Most either didnt do that much in-person 1-on-1 training, or catered more to groups or worked out of gyms full of other people.  I guess its hard to explain but other gyms also seemed a bit too commercialized and Chris and his gym seemed more genuinely client-focused without the extra flashiness.  He seemed less concerned about selling me a package and more about understanding/learning about my personal health and fitness goals.I started working out with Chris in February 2018, weighing about 140-145lbs.  Today, about 3.5 months later, I weigh about 165-170lbs, and Im also a lot stronger.  The most amazing aspect is that my waist is still the same size!  I am now heavier than any immediate family member has been in their entire lives, and this is only the beginning of my fitness journey.Regarding the actual workouts, Chris truly cares.  I mean he cares enough to text me the times I got sick, and he really is a genuinely great person.  Hes not only very knowledgeable about nutrition and weight lifting, hes also a patient teacher who explains things very well and really wants to help you achieve your goals.  It often feels like working out with an old friend.In my past experience with another personal trainer, I had mainly been pushed to lift really heavy weights, not given much direction on proper form, and recommended generic dieting, bulk supplements, etc.  Chris is totally different.  He focuses a lot on proper exercise form, and I really appreciate his emphasis on that.  He cares more about longevity and lasting results, recommending more whole, organic foods, and rarely mentions a supplement unless I specifically ask about something.  Even though I definitely have good short-term results, his attitude on thinking long-term is definitely more in line with my own personal fitness goals.The gym itself is excellent.  Very big and airy with lots of cool breezes, making you feel like youre working out in the perfect temperature outdoors, even though youre actually indoors.  Its nice being able to go there for cardio when I need to, and its always very clean and well-kept.  He also has a bookshelf that he occasionally refers to, and Ive learned so much not just about the movements, but also about posture, the importance of incorporating cardio, certain stretches, etc.  Sometimes the workouts can be quite intense, but never too much.  I like that he has a sense of where I am in my strength levels, energy level that day, etc. and knows when to give me an extra nudge on a few more reps and when Ive reached my energy limits for the set.

I had seen Chriss Ad for some time and finally took advantage of his 40 session deal with a goal to lose some weight. I began the first week in September and boy was he killing me! Comment: Chris is one of those people whos just really good at their job, and his job is personal training. My partner bought me a package of sessions to train with Chris and I begrudgingly began going. At the time I was into running and had long been out of the gym routine. It took a few sessions to really see the breadth of everything that Chris offers.Workouts were and still are tough, but he has a way of keeping your mind off of it. He doesnt just go through the motions, he teaches you about technique, your muscle structure, up-leveling your fitness, etc. I love the mix of traditional weight training, stretching, and gynastics. My physique completely changed after a couple of months and I really enjoy working out now.If youre stuck in the duldrums of a monotonous gym routine or youre not a gym person but want to improve your fitness level, I highly recommend giving Chris a try and sticking with it a couple times a week for at least a month. Its hard to argue with the results youll see by then and I suspect thatll be all the motivation you need.

Comment: Ive been active my entire life. I started playing sports at a very young age and continued through high school. Once I went off to college though, I tried my best to stay in shape by going to the gym, but it became so mundane and boring. I wasnt enjoying myself. It began to feel more like work than anything. Plus I wasnt seeing the results I truly wanted. Comment: I reconnected with Chris after rupturing my pectoral muscle on Thanksgiving day 2014. 16 weeks post surgery, and 8 weeks into physical therapy I was seeing no improvement. Chris was no stranger in combining post injury physical therapy, range of motion therapy, and ultimately back into strength training. Within a month I had all my range of motion back in my chest and shoulder, and we were transitioning into strength training movements again. Within 6 months I was doing full workouts including flat and incline benching as well as power shoulder movements. Im now over a year post surgery, and have surpassed my pre-injury max amounts in almost every category. Thanks Chris for all your work! Comment: If you are looking for the BEST Personal Trainer then look no further! Chris Keith has done wonders for me and I dont say that often or lightly. I had been overweight for a number of years and tried different gyms and trainers. When I started training with Chris I immediately saw results.I have lost a lot of weight, started living a healthier lifestyle, feel more energized and can say that I am in a really good place with my health (I havent been able to say that in over 10 years!).
