Comment: I consulted Athletic Edge after experiencing dysfunction in my left leg from back to toe while walking on the PCT. I was welcomed straight away by an extremely friendly and caring team. The first session consists of collecting data aimed at proposing therapy. This was carried out with great professionalism. The plan now allows me to resume my long-distance hiking project. Greg listened to my questions and observations and offered me adapted and individualized care. Comment: I tripped and injured my toes while dancing. Since they werent bruised or swollen, I thought it wasnt necessary to see a doctor. Instead, I let them heal on their own.Four months later, I am unable to return to my previous activities, I am aware that I require physical therapy which led me to find Dr. Natasha through online search.Dr. Natasha is intelligent and explained my issue, enabling me to choose the right package.After 11 visits, I can now go back to the dance studio with my toes 90% healed. I came in with knee and calf pain—the result of an injury, an old ACL tear, and years of avoiding strength training—and within a month and a half I was back to running a 10K without pain. Comment: I saw Dr. Natasha for a muscular injury that occurred a few days ago. She was able to see me immediately after expressing my concerns. She was amazing! Very knowledgeable, caring, and thoughtful. She knew exactly what to do for my injury and gave me tips on how to go about the rest of my week without re-injuring myself. I especially liked how when she would perform an exercise, or massage, she would explain her reasoning for it. Comment: I heard about this place from a friend and reached out when I had messed up my knee. When I called, they were so accommodating to how fast I wanted to take care of this issue so I can return to working out pain free. I came in and saw Dr. Greg and he walked me through everything he was doing and how it will help me which was comforting. With a few treatments and following his programming, I was able to see myself lifting weights closer to what I normally do. Hes also taught me different techniques to help with my lifts. Comment: Ive had a lot of PT in my life and Natasha is unquestionably the best. Shes thorough, knowledgeable, and inspires confidence. Much of my past PT has felt boilerplate; Natasha assigns me exercises that specifically isolate and target my weaknesses, taking my feedback from the week (through their handy app) to assess my progress and then craft an individually tailored plan for the next week.Natasha is also kind, and clearly invested in my success. I really appreciated that early on, she asked me what success would mean to me in both the short term and long term. Comment: Met Dr. Natasha and Dr. Cali at a health expo through my work and decided to come in for an evaluation and work to combat an issue with my shoulder/neck that has been problematic for some time with overhead lifts or heavier shoulder/trap dominant work. Fast forward 2 sessions with Cali and Im on track to work through the actual issue that Cali was quick to diagnose and Ive seen progress each time, with a workout plan between sessions and a timeline to achieve certain goals. Both are extremely knowledgeable about anatomy, physiology, and function, but beyond that, they know how to apply it to athletes. They are not only capable of helping get rid of pain, but they help you get back to a high level of function as well. Natasha always takes her time to assess any new issues and address ones that we continue to work on. She uses each hour appointment to its fullest to incorporate manual muscle release work and exercises. I couldn’t put weight on my knee when fully flexed earlier this year and now I’m back to hitting squat PRs and doing CrossFit competitions. Comment: If youre thinking about seeing a PT, Athletic Edge is amazing. I first saw Dr. Cali for a foot and hip injury over the winter and since then weve added some other new injuries to the mix. Ive done a lot of post-surgey PT where you kind of get shuffled through the appointment alongside other patients but this is so much better with 1-on-1 time and customized training/exercises based on what you need. Its great to have someone keeping you accountable on your rehab during the session and for at-home exercises!

Comment: Im an active person with 5-6 workouts a week which includes long distance running. I hurt my shoulder about a year and half ago doing an advanced pull up routine. After an MRI, two steroidal shots and going through 8 sessions at the nearest PT, I saw no lasting improvement. Then I found Athletic Edge, and Im so glad! Im almost back to my pre-injury fitness levels and now seeing these guys for a chronic hamstring issue. I love the scientific approach, modern techniques and the high levels of care Natasha provides. They were able to make a diagnosis and begin treatment right away and she felt better after just one session. They explained the technical situation in terms we could easily understand and put our minds at ease. Our daughter continued to play and felt less and less pain by following their treatment plan. They both checked in on her via text messaging after games and made additional recommendations while we were away at the showcases. Comment: 2nd review of Atheletic Edge.For the sake of full transparency, I used to work with Natasha in an outpatient ortho physical therapy clinic. I know her in both personal and professional aspects. I came to see her after getting hit in the back of the head with a soccer ball last night. I was nervous I had a concussion; I was having pain, headache and a ton of tightness in my head, neck, and L shoulder.She ran me through various concussion screenings and believed I had very minor, if any concussion at all, and that my symptoms were more related to whip lash.After the screenings and about 20-30 mins of hands-on soft tissue and joint mobilization, my headache was gone, and tightness with different head movements was significantly reduced (Id say about 95% gone). Afterwards, she explained her findings and made sure I knew what stretches/exercises to do in my after care.There are a lot of options for physical therapy, especially here in San Diego, but as someone that has worked in the physician-owned sector, I can tell you that Natashas way of things significantly trumps the old go to the doctor, get a referral, go where they tell you way of things. This goes for anyone, but ESPECIALLY if you are sport-specific or a highly active person.This woman and the select few people she hires into her circle are knowledgeable, capable, and way more fun than being in a medical office/clinic.Just to give you an idea of the enthusiastic care youll be getting, heres a short story: When I arrived today, I kept apologizing to Natasha for taking up her time, giving her more work...etc. She replied with Stop it, this is FUN! This woman and her people are PASSIONATE. It is obvious to anyone that spends 10 mins with them.Review from 2 years ago:I was having pain in my hip, thigh, butt, calf... pretty much my entire left leg... after playing in a soccer tournament. I was stretching on my own but wasnt getting much relief, and my regular gym routine was struggling. Natasha worked on my leg ONCE and I was able to deadlift and do agility exercises with SO much less tightness and pain.She genuinely cares about getting people better and back to their active lifestyle.

She is extremally in depth with the beginning examination east session. She does remeasurements each session to evaluate progress growth since his her last visit. She is really dedicated to her work, and he she can tell that it it obvious she wants the best rehabilitations and progress. The facility has onsite gym equipment to train the clients. Dr pysdrowski also does pre work out sessions in her office getting results, measurements, cupping if needed depending on the injury. I would whole heartly recommend this facility for physical therapy. I would totally recommend Athletic Edge Physical Therapy to anybody needing services, as well as Dr pysdrowski.

Comment: I would give Natasha 10 stars if I could! I found her back in January when I first moved to the San Diego area and had been dealing with some sciatic pain off/on for about 6 months prior. I had been to multiple ortho and spine doctors for this issue and was treated with meds and rest which really made the problem worse. After about 3-4 visits with Natasha I felt about 90% better and after a few months I felt like the sciatic pain was completely gone.One thing I really like about her approach was her efforts to try to get me back to the exercise I enjoy most. Ive been an avid orange theory goer for about 2 years and Natasha was always working with me on form for the specific exercises we frequently do in class. I dont think she ever once said never do this exercise again. Due to my stubbornness for working out the same injury came back. So i went to see her a few months later and she was able to pinpoint the root of the problem. After a couple months of self-rehab and careful training, my back was still having issues and I wasnt able to figure out the root of my injury, so I decided to get an initial evaluation by Natasha. Right away she helped identify the cause of my injury, provided some immediate relief, and prescribed the steps I needed to take to get back on track. Comment: Im a dancer and have had a lot of different kinds of injuries over there years. I also worked in the physical therapy field for over 2 years. Natasha is hands down the BEST physical therapist Ive ever worked with as a patient or a professional. I started seeing her after having surgery on my shoulder and I met and surpassed every benchmark my surgeon had for my recovery. Dr. Hastings is professional and incredibly knowledgeable and she genuinely cares about her patients. If I say something hurts or feels strange she knows what questions to ask and how to assess to figure out what the issue is and then she modifies the treatment to address the issue. If she doesnt have an answer, which is rare, she will take the time to do thorough scholarly research and come back with answers and a whole slew of stretches and exercises. Each session is different too, youll really be getting your moneys worth. Many PTs will just repeat and add-on to the same exercise regimen in each session, you dont always need to come to an appointment to just do the same things over and over. Natasha gets creative and has a new workout and exercise/stretch/strengthening set for every appointment which she modifies on the fly if necessary. I would refer anyone at any level of functioning to Dr. Hastings without hesitation from elite athlete to severely disabled and trust that she would know what to do and how to help.

Comment: Multiple knee traumas led me to a total replacement in my early 50s. I didn’t have rehab success with traditional clinic-based therapy so I contacted Dr. Natasha. I have made more progress with her in the past 6 weeks than I have in the whole 6 months after my surgery. She has performed many treatment modalities on me while also working on my strength recovery. I am better able to focus and work with her because she comes to our home instead of a sterile, busy clinical setting.
